Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. seeks a VP of Research & Development to set the Ingredients Division’s strategic R&D and innovation roadmap, translating customer needs and dairy science into scalable, profitable solutions.

The executive will own whey- and milk-based proteins, cultures, and specialty ingredients, driving scale-up, regulatory alignment, and first production while balancing risk, quality, and ROI.

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years in R&D/innovation leadership within dairy ingredients or related food industry.
• Proven ability to define strategy and commercialize B2B dairy ingredients from bench to production.
• Strong knowledge of dairy component chemistry and function.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic R&D roadmap aligned with growth priorities.
• Lead end-to-end development from discovery through pilot, scale-up, and first commercial production.
• Attract, develop and retain technical talent while building a culture of rigor and collaboration.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science
