Job summary

Huitt-Zollars, Inc. is seeking a Principal-in-Charge/Vice President for Urban Development in Rio Rancho, NM. The role requires 15+ years of experience and a NM-registered Professional Engineer.

You will lead major projects, drive business development, mentor staff, and oversee plan production and processing. The position is full-time and in-office with responsibility for strategic planning, client relations, and joint sales goals.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer in NM with 15+ years of experience.
• BSCE required; ability to manage multiple projects with limited supervision.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, and client development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Principal-in-Charge and Senior Project Manager on key projects.
• Identify contacts/clients/opportunities for new work.
• Train/mentor staff and review work for quality assurance.
• Grow Federal and Institutional group and manage resources to meet schedules and budgets.
• Interface with clients, develop proposals, and manage billing and change orders.
