Huitt-Zollars, Inc. in Rio Rancho seeks a Senior Civil Engineer Project Manager (Eng IV) to lead design and construction for public works projects.

You will manage scope, budgets, and schedules, coordinate with EITs, drafters, and clients, and provide construction administration support from concept through bidding. The role requires a BSCE, PE license, 10+ years of civil engineering design experience in public works, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• 10+ years of civil engineering design experience in Public Works.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel and Word software.
• Ability to work independently in a team environment and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Civil Engineer in the development of design schematics, construction plans, specifications and estimates.
• Coordinate with EITs, designers and drafters.
• Review shop drawings, perform field observations, and facilitate construction administration.
• Support project proposals, scopes, budgets, and manage execution and tracking of projects.
• Complete projects within client specifications, budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate online meetings, preparation of meeting agendas, and distribution of meeting materials.
• Focus on site development from concept design through construction documents.
