CLEAR is building the secure identity platform for the future, delivering frictionless experiences across mobile, web, and airport touchpoints. The Senior Engineering Leader will own the Travel portfolio and guide teams across CLEAR Plus, e-gates, EnVe, payments, and partnerships.

You will drive technical strategy, architecture, and a culture of excellence to deliver reliable, scalable products. With 15+ years in software engineering and 7+ years in leadership, you will partner with Product,

Qualifications

15+ years of software engineering experience with deep exposure to large-scale, consumer-facing platforms.
7+ years managing people managers and leading multi-team organizations.
Expertise in modern cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and reliability practices.

Responsibilities

Own the Travel engineering portfolio end-to-end.
Lead the engineering teams responsible for CLEAR Plus, e-gates, EnVe, payments and subscriptions, concierge, and related tools.
Ensure these systems are reliable, secure, performant, and continually improving.
Set the technical strategy and architecture for aviation products across physical and digital channels.
Drive engineering and operational excellence and establish high standards for code quality, testing, deployment, incident management, and on-call practices.
