Job summary

IMDiversity seeks a VP, Strategic Priorities in New York to lead high-priority, transformative bus initiatives across capital, operations, and service planning. You will coordinate with senior leadership to advance strategic goals and manage complex projects with interagency partners.

Responsibilities include advising the EVP on planning, scheduling, budgeting, and performance metrics, as well as driving cross-functional collaborations with DOB, NYCT, and the MTA to deliver major programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in BA/BS fields such as Business Administration, Public Administration, Transportation Management, or Urban Planning.
• Preferred BA/BS in Operations Management, Public Policy, or equivalent.
• Equivalent education and experience may substitute for a degree.
• Minimum 12 years of progressively responsible experience managing complex projects.
• Minimum 8 years of supervisory experience managing teams or projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the EVP, Buses, across planning, scheduling, resource management, workforce development, and capital planning.
• Support executive decision-making, create project work plans, set service goals, and report on metrics.
• Lead cross-agency projects with DOB, NYCT, and MTA, coordinating with partners to implement major projects.
• Build external relationships with City Hall, NYC DOT, NYS DOT, and stakeholders to advance bus projects.
• Communicate strategies clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and guide data-driven decisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies; may work hours outside regular times.
