Goldman Sachs seeks a Vice President – Technical Program Manager to drive the vision and delivery of the Autonomous Alpha Generation Platform in New York. This role sits at the intersection of quantitative research, AI, automated trading systems, and scalable platform engineering.

You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, research, and business, defining modular interfaces, HITL controls, and a robust data/MLOps backbone to empower internal desks while maintaining risk governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical program management or platform engineering in fintech.
• Experience leading multi-team infrastructure projects and roadmaps.
• Ability to define modular architectures, plugins, APIs, and SDKs.
• Hands-on HITL, governance checkpoints, and UI dashboards.
• Experience with enterprise MLOps, feature stores, model registries, and lineage.
• Time-series data infra including HF tick data storage and PIT compliance.
• Familiar with autonomous agent design patterns and risk governance.
• Domain knowledge of quantitative trading or research workflows.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end program execution for the central platform with milestones.
• Lead integration of central platform with desk-specific apps and systems.
• Define metrics for platform adoption, DX, throughput, and reliability.
• Coordinate alignment across Quantitative Research, Core Tech, Data Eng, Risk.
• Ensure HITL controls and regulatory MR monitoring.
