Goldman Sachs seeks a senior software engineer to lead cloud-native, AI-driven engineering initiatives across the firm’s trading platforms. You will design, implement, and operate high-availability services and advocate best practices for scalable software delivery.

You will collaborate with stakeholders globally, govern AI-assisted outputs, and push forward multi-region architectures while ensuring robust security and observability in production.

Formación

• 6 years of professional software development in Java (Java 17 preferred).
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and governance of AI outputs.
• Experience building event-driven and distributed systems using messaging (Kafka) and resilience strategies.
• Strong SDLC practices: version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated build/test/deploy workflows, and code quality tooling.
• Excellent communication across geographically distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate high-availability, multi-region cloud-native services with observability built in at every layer.
• Develop event-driven architectures, multi-stage processing pipelines, and optimized data paths for high-throughput trade lifecycle management.
• Partner with engineers, domain experts, and global stakeholders to understand, model, and digitize the firm’s business processes.
• Manage the full lifecycle of software components from requirements analysis through design, development, testing, and release.
• Innovate AI-centric solutions and reusable capabilities across Global Banking & Markets’ front, middle, and back office.
• Multiply impact with AI-driven tooling across the SDLC to accelerate delivery.
