Job summary

The Greater Boston Food Bank, Inc. seeks a Vice President of Technology to lead core technology operations and ensure stability, security, and modernization across GBFB’s systems.

You will manage infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and partner delivery for a distributed network of sites. This senior role requires 10+ years in technology with leadership, ERP/WMS experience, and the ability to align IT with business strategy.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in technology with at least five years leading teams.
• Experience implementing and overseeing a cybersecurity program, including audits.
• Experience owning ERP and/or warehouse management systems in distribution/logistics.
• Strong communication with executives and the Board.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day technology operations across infrastructure, network, endpoints, and end-user support at all GBFB sites.
• Own cybersecurity end-to-end — IAM, endpoint protection, email security, incident response, and training, aligned to standards.
• Define enterprise architecture direction: integration patterns, master data ownership, release management, and technical debt reduction.
• Lead the replacement of manual bridges between systems with integrated, documented solutions.
• Partner with Strategy & Intelligence to ensure reliable data flows to analytics platforms and AI initiatives.
• Manage PMO, vendors, and service partners; forecast budgets and delivery against dates.
