Job summary

The Maryland Food Bank is seeking a Senior Vice President, Operations to lead sourcing, warehousing, transportation, and distribution across five facilities in Maryland. You will oversee 125,000+ sq ft of warehouse space, a 30+ vehicle fleet, and 65+ staff, ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Chief Impact and Operating Officer, you will drive strategic initiatives, collaborate across departments, and help end hunger across the state.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 15 years of Operations, Supply Chain, and Logistics leadership experience.
• 5 years in a senior level role (Director/Vice President).
• Proven ability to articulate and implement strategy across an organization.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 65+ person statewide Operations team across five facilities.
• Develop multi-year and annual operational objectives aligned with strategy.
• Improve systems and processes across supply chain and warehousing.
• Create and manage annual Operations budgets and plans.
• Monitor performance using defined metrics and continuously improve.
