Job summary

BNY Mellon seeks a Vice President, Syndicated Loans / Agency Specialist to lead client processing within Loans Enablement Operations in Houston, TX. You will oversee day-to-day servicing for syndicated loans and ensure error-free onboarding and lender set-ups.

Role requires deep loan domain knowledge, experience with Loan IQ and ClearPar, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration with tax, closing, and trades teams while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Typically, 7-12 years of total work experience is preferred.
Basic knowledge of tax withholdings and IRS refunds preferred.
Experience with Loan IQ and ClearPar strongly preferred.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively across groups within the organization.
Directly related experience with Syndicated loans and/or comparable commercial lending experience.
In-depth knowledge of internal/external audit process experience.
Ability to lead, provide guidance and work under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Manages the day-to-day servicing needs for a portfolio of syndicated loans.
Review, research, and analyze documentation and data to ensure timely lender onboarding and set-up.
Confirm lender validations for timely processing of loan trades.
Obtain formation, corporate documents and tax forms from lenders and review for accuracy.
Research and resolve loan related issues and complex client inquiries.
Collaborate with tax, closing, servicing, and trades teams as necessary.
Lead and train junior staff and provide operational support.
