Job summary

STR, based in Washington, D.C., seeks a Vice President, Strategy to architect growth across the Analytics and C2 division. Translate DARPA pilots and technical reputation into large‑scale programs of record through executive engagement with services, OSD, and Capitol Hill.

Lead a cross‑functional team to align STR’s capabilities with long‑term national security programs, while navigating PPBE and budget cycles to embed STR in future acquisitions. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience across federal government with acquisitions, appropriations, and PPBE processes.
• Strong executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic growth strategy aligned to product strategy and mission needs.
• Translate pilots and DARPA relationships into large‑scale programs of record.
• Develop a government relations plan engaging services, combatant commands, OSD, and Congress.
• Lead cross‑functional pursuit coordination across technical, BD, and government affairs.
