Job summary

FINRA in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Vice President, Trading and Product Risk Intelligence to lead a team of analysts responsible for identifying, analyzing, and predicting regulatory trends and their impact on member firms and markets. This strategic role reports to the SVP of Strategic Intelligence and partners with regulators and industry participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; law or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum ten years’ experience in intelligence collection, analysis, dissemination, and planning.
• Deep expertise in intelligence cycle strategies and regulatory activities.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. broker-dealer regulation and financial oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic intelligence team and provide direction to cross‑functional partners.
• Develop finished intelligence products, assessments, and briefings for senior leadership.
• Engage with regulators, industry participants, and law enforcement to advance FINRA objectives.
• Oversee governance, staffing, and budget to meet objectives.
