Job summary

FINRA is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Intelligence to lead a high-impact team that identifies and analyzes risks, regulatory trends, and emerging threats affecting member firms and markets. The role bridges deep technical insights with strategic dissemination for senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in intelligence collection, analysis, dissemination, and planning.
• Deep expertise in developing and executing strategies related to the intelligence cycle and methodologies to identify threat and strategic intelligence that informs regulatory activities.
• Extensive knowledge of intelligence structures, capabilities, processes, and policy development.
• Substantial knowledge of the regulation and operation of U.S. broker-dealers and financial regulation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor intelligence team to identify emerging risks, threats, and regulatory trends.
• Develop and deliver strategic intelligence products, assessments, and briefings for senior leadership.
• Establish intelligence frameworks and dissemination protocols for timely delivery across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with FINRA and regulators; speak at conferences and represent FINRA externally.
• Drive cross-departmental strategic initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
