Job summary

Fanatics Betting & Gaming is seeking a VP, Strategic Payments to define and lead the payments strategy across our growing sports betting and gaming business. Payments are a critical part of the customer experience and our growth trajectory, and this leader will manage relationships with providers, banks, and processors to deliver a seamless experience.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Finance and Risk to optimize costs, expand into new markets, and ensure compliant, scalable payment

Qualifications

Experience launching payment capabilities or supporting payment go-to-market strategies in new markets or jurisdictions.
Ability to manage and negotiate strategic relationships with major payment vendors and financial partners.
Deep experience in payments strategy, partnerships, fintech, banking, processing, acquiring, or related field.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the long-term payments strategy for Fanatics Betting & Gaming aligned with growth and market expansion.
Own strategic evaluation of payment costs, optimize unit economics, and improve acceptance rates.
Lead vendor negotiations and manage partnerships with PayPal and other major providers.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Risk, and Legal to implement payment solutions.
Drive go-to-market planning to support expansion into new jurisdictions and markets.
