Job summary

Prudential is seeking a Vice President, Communications Strategic Planning to lead the Strategic Planning pillar within Strategy & Integration. You will translate enterprise priorities into integrated communications plans, governance rhythms, and delivery cadences that align resources with high-impact work.

The role supports hybrid work with on-site presence as determined by the business. You will collaborate with SLT and senior leaders to drive execution, visibility, and executive alignment,

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in corporate communications and strategic planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Strategy or related field.
• Ability to translate business strategy into integrated communications plans and governance rhythms.
• Strong executive presence and consultative communication with C-suite leaders.
• Experience leading high-performing teams and cross-functional partnerships.
• Familiarity with planning tools and workflows such as Workfront.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual, quarterly, and agile planning cadence for Communications.
• Establish planning governance, decision forums, service tiers and tradeoff mechanisms.
• Lead and develop the Strategic Planning pillar team and intake processes.
• Partner with senior leaders to surface priorities, decisions, and risks.
• Make demand and capacity visible to enable disciplined decisions.
• Ensure planning outputs clearly demonstrate Communications' contribution to strategy and reputation.
