Job summary

Prudential is seeking a Vice President, Communications Strategic Planning to lead the Strategic Planning pillar, translating enterprise priorities into integrated planning, governance, and resource alignment across SLT teams.

You will partner with the Head of Strategy & Integration and senior Communications leaders to surface priorities, dependencies, and risks, driving capacity visibility and enterprise storytelling in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in corporate communications, strategic planning or related fields.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into integrated communications plans and governance rhythms.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence C-suite and SLT leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual, quarterly and agile planning cadence for Communications across SLT teams.
• Establish planning governance, service tiers and tradeoff mechanisms.
• Direct the Strategic Planning pillar team and intake processes.
• Partner with senior leaders to surface priorities, dependencies and risks.
• Make demand and capacity visible to enable disciplined decisions.
• Ensure planning outputs demonstrate Communications’ contribution to strategy and reputation.
