Job summary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of real estate lending, construction and permanent financing, underwriting, loan review, and/or loan workouts with CRE exposure.
• Deep understanding of CRE valuation concepts and methodologies across major property types.
• Extensive experience with property cash flow analysis, debt service coverage, and scenario modeling.
• Advanced Excel for financial modeling; proficiency in Word and Access for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end workout strategies for defaulted CRE loans to maximize recoveries.
• Execute restructures, discounted payoffs, note sales and foreclosure processes with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee non-performing assets, ensuring proper loan oversight and risk rating adherence.
• Perform cash flow analysis, scenario modeling, and valuation to inform decisions.
• Serve as project lead on special assignments and training for junior staff.
• Design analytical frameworks and enhance management reports for senior leadership.
• Negotiate with borrowers and sponsors to achieve value-adding outcomes.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve system-related issues impacting loan reporting.
• Prepare periodic portfolio status updates for Senior Management and governance.
