Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks an Assistant Vice President for Space Technologies to lead a space tech line of business and drive AI and quantum initiatives.

You will develop and implement a 5-year strategic plan for space technologies, build a robust pipeline of DoD contracts and OT vehicles, and guide market expansion while managing P&L. The role requires top-tier leadership, strong communication, and the ability to recruit, hire, and retain talent; active Secret clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; advanced degree preferred.
• 20+ years of relevant DoD programs/projects experience.
• Proven ability to grow organizations, win new business, recruit, hire, and manage personnel.
• Experience managing organizational P&L and contracts/task orders.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a space and advanced technology solutions and products line of business using AI and quantum computing.
• Develop and implement a 5-year strategic plan for space technologies and investments.
• Develop and prosecute a 5-year pipeline of opportunities using FAR and Other Transactions with fixed-price and cost-plus contracts.
• Advise leadership on vision, directions, and pipeline development in select markets.
• Develop and implement market and product strategies expanding existing markets and creating new ones.
