Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or master's in a technical field.
• Military service as commissioned officer or senior NCO, or equivalent civil service experience with a defense/government customer.
• Understanding of how DoD identifies requirements, funds programs, and acquires capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences; credible in government engagements.
• Willingness to travel approximately 35% to customer sites, events, and industry engagements.
• Experience in at least one: military ops, contracting/acquisition, requirements/tech integration, OTAs familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders to understand operational needs.
• Translate operational challenges into problem statements and align with Valkyrie's capabilities.
• Identify, qualify, and track opportunities across OTAs, SBIR/STTR, COs, and traditional contracts.
• Support capture planning and proposal development including white papers, briefs, and pricing inputs.
• Represent Valkyrie at meetings, industry days, demonstrations, and conferences.
• Maintain pipeline data and customer engagement records in the CRM; report progress to leadership.
• Coordinate with contracts, finance, and program management on teaming and transition of awards.
• Develop knowledge of Valkyrie's capabilities and communicate them credibly to customers.
