Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) seeks a senior leader to own the Software Infrastructure and Forward Deployed Engineering programs. You will shape engineering productivity, CI/CD workflows, and capacity planning while directing engineers deployed with key customers to optimize AMD software in real workloads.

You will translate field intelligence into prioritized engineering roadmaps, balance customer needs with roadmap goals, and drive scalable patterns to accelerate deployments across engagements.

Qualifications

• Leading high-impact technical teams in high-stakes environments.
• Understanding stack from hardware to software.
• Strong commercial sense; knows how ARR, churn, margin affect deals.
• Experience managing Sev0 customer incidents and guiding root-cause resolution.

Responsibilities

• Own software infrastructure and developer productivity platform, including CI/CD and workflows.
• Manage workloads and productivity aligned with GPU capacity and utilization.
• Clarify responsibilities with IT; ensure engineering owns developer-facing workloads and pipelines.
• Establish metrics for productivity and capacity utilization.
• Build and lead Forward Deployed Engineering to deploy and optimize AMD software at customer sites.
• Translate field feedback into prioritized engineering work and scalable patterns.
• Drive adoption through repeatable architectures and tooling.
