Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is seeking a Program Lead to drive end-to-end program execution within the AI/HPC Data Center Lab.

The role interfaces with stakeholders to translate requirements into daily priorities, and, with on-site support, ensures seamless ramp-up and ongoing delivery. The ideal candidate is a decisive, hands-on leader with deep data center platform knowledge and strong communication skills, capable of aligning engineering teams and program managers toward execution

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical programs or engineering teams in data center, HPC, or GPU lab.
• Strong understanding of hardware bring-up, silicon validation, and pre-production platform deployment.
• Ability to translate program requirements into daily engineering priorities.
• Experience interfacing with cross-functional stakeholders including platform leads, chief engineers, and program managers.
• Knowledge of in-lab infrastructure including test benches, system administration, and fault management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Ansible) and ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of computer hardware (GPU/CPU/PCIe) and software architecture (driver/BIOS).
• Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to convey status to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and drive tasks to completion.

Responsibilities

• Own program execution as the primary metric; track and drive daily progress against milestones.
• Interface to the program; translate requirements into actionable priorities for the lab.
• Provide leadership and direction to lab engineers and cross-functional contributors.
• Manage requirements intake and decompose into executable tasks for the lab team.
• Coordinate new program deployments with the on-site Program PM; ensure ramp-up readiness.
• Drive triage and resolution for system-, firmware-, and software-level issues.
• Maintain visibility into lab health and execution blockers; elevate risks.
• Facilitate communication between DPEG platform leads, chief engineers, and lab engineers.
• Integrate and oversee automated testing within CI/CD environments to support validation.
• Manage and report status in a ticketing system with clear blockers and resolutions.
