Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President, Scrum Leader to join the Credit Services team in New York, NY. You will connect Agile delivery to client outcomes, facilitate Scrum events, and coach teams toward high-value increments while partnering with Product Owner and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include removing impediments, guiding program backlog, and leading program-level events. Strong communication and Agile certification emphasis are key. Bachelor's degree plus 4–8 years’ experience expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 4-8 years in a similar role or related Agile leadership position.
• Experience as Scrum Leader/Manager for large software initiatives.
• Knowledge of Scrum, SAFe, XP, Kanban, and Spotify Agile variants.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence tooling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Scrum events are productive and timeboxed, remove impediments.
• Facilitate collaboration between Scrum Team, Product Owner, and stakeholders.
• Coach teams in self-management, cross-functionality, and high-value increments.
• Guide program backlog and PI objectives with portfolio/product leaders.
• Lead Big Room Planning and program events; drive empirical planning.
