JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President to lead SBA credit risk teams within Chase Business Banking Risk in Plano, Texas. You will guide credit decisioning on SBA loans and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 10 years of business credit risk experience, withstrongknowledge of SBA, Scored and Wholesale Credit
• Proven leadership and talentdevelopment skills
• Ability to build strong stakeholder relationshipsand challenge effectively
• Experience inrisk assessment, regulatory management, and procedure development
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain direct accountability for Credit Officer quality andcompliance with SBA and regulatoryrequirements
• Act as themain Risk contactfor SBA Solutions, Business Direct Center, Lending Product, Risk Strategy, Portfolio Management and senior managementproviding any SBA process updates or improvements.
• Ensure high-quality credit riskassessment and analysis acting with a sense of urgency, solving problems, to effectively meet benchmarks and expectations.
• Collaborate withpeers domestic and global, for consistentand timely coverage, for a national workload.
• Voice opinions clearly and Identify opportunities to improve controls and efficiencies, as well as lead changeinitiatives
• Participate on SBA Solutions Management and SBA Solutions Consultant team calls to discuss any updates to the Riskpolicyand procedures that impact the SBA products and be aware of any changes impacting Risk.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on SBA Standard Operating Procedure to ensure Chase Credit Risk requirements and procedures are in compliance to ensure a valid SBA guaranty.
• Represent JPMorgan in external risk-relateddiscussions.
• Retain, develop and recruit high-performing talent.
