Job summary

Marsh Risk Analytics Solutions is seeking a Vice President to lead technical peer review on actuarial analyses, oversee analytics engagements, and translate complex modeling into clear guidance for clients.

This role focuses on reviewing lead analysts’ work, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, and presenting findings to CFOs, Treasurers, and other C‑suite executives. Actuarial credentials are valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of relevant technical experience in actuarial analysis, statistics, mathematical modeling, data science, risk analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong foundation in probability, statistics, and quantitative modeling, with judgment to evaluate assumptions, assess results, and recognize model limitations.
• Experience reviewing complex analytical work, identifying errors or inconsistencies, and providing actionable feedback.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own technical peer review on actuarial analyses and review data, assumptions, methodologies, calculations, model outputs, and client deliverables.
• Guide actuarial and statistical analysis including Monte Carlo simulations and loss distributions to help clients understand outcomes and severe loss scenarios.
• Manage engagements from planning through delivery with clear scope, milestones, and deadlines.
• Present clear, decision-oriented findings to risk managers, finance leaders, and executive audiences.
• Develop analysts through constructive feedback to improve technical judgment and communication.
