Job summary

Marsh seeks a VP for the Actuarial Claims Consulting practice to lead advanced reserving and analytics for diverse clients. This hybrid role requires 3 days in-office in a Marsh US location, with flexibility to be based wherever Marsh offices operate.

You will analyze data, build bespoke reserving models, and guide projects while collaborating with clients and teams to deliver practical, insight-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of P&C actuarial experience with a strong reserving background.
• ACAS, FCAS preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial, statistical, and actuarial data to develop reserving insights.
• Build complex bespoke reserving calculation models and analytics-based tools.
• Maintain and develop efficiencies for existing actuarial reserving models.
• Communicate findings through exhibits, reports, and presentations.
• Develop understanding of clients’ exposures and needs to provide practical solutions.
• Coordinate workstreams and review analysts’ work for accuracy.
