Job summary

UT Federal Credit Union seeks a strategic VP, Director of Retail Operations to lead and transform retail operations at the UTFCU Corporate Office. The role guides deposit operations, electronic payments, card services, fraud & disputes, and quality control to deliver exceptional member experiences.

You will develop forward-looking strategies, drive automation, strengthen risk management, and build high-performing teams, leveraging data to elevate service delivery and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business/finance/ops or related field.
• Eight or more years of progressive leadership experience within a financial institution.
• Proven success leading operational teams and change initiatives.
• Strong understanding of operational risk, compliance, controls, and financial services operations.
• Experience developing leaders and scalable teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute forward-looking operational strategies that support growth and member engagement.
• Lead process improvement, automation, and modernization efforts to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Strengthen organizational capabilities, workforce readiness, and succession planning.
• Ensure strong operational controls, compliance, risk management, and audit readiness.
• Utilize data and analytics to improve performance, service quality, and decision-making.
• Build high-performing teams and cultivate a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, Accounting, or a related field
