The VP, Relationship Manager plays a dual role in business development and portfolio management. This position is responsible for originating new commercial lending relationships while managing an assigned loan portfolio. The VP RM works closely with underwriters, credit analysts, and support teams to structure credit facilities, ensure compliance, and deliver an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage new client relationships to meet loan growth and revenue goals.
• Negotiate and structure commercial loan terms; prepare and present credit proposals.
• Lead the underwriting and approval process with internal stakeholders.
• Manage and monitor an assigned loan portfolio, ensuring strong credit quality.
• Identify potential credit issues and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure accurate documentation and timely loan closings.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Cross-sell banking products and services to deepen client relationships.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.

Qualifications
