Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of experience in a senior property management role.
• Ability to evaluate properties and capital expenditures.
• Experience managing a large real estate portfolio.
• Experience coaching and managing staff.
• Strong financial and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior management to establish short- and long-term plans for regional communities.
• Organize and supervise planning processes to achieve target performance levels.
• Manage budgeting and variances; advise senior management on planning.
• Assess properties, assets, and resident relations; monitor customer service quality.
• Visit properties regularly to coach regional managers and assess performance.
• Review monthly financial statements and report findings to senior management.
• Oversee expansion and improvement programs; assist with acquisitions and budgeting.
• Represent company interests to local/state governments and trade associations.
• Hire, coach, mentor, and evaluate regional and community managers.
