Job summary

Sapiens in Rochelle Park, NJ, seeks a senior AI product/leadership role to recruit, onboard, coach AI-FDEs and Value FDEs, and to stand up customer-funded pods as the persistent core. You will allocate pod capacity like investments, drive the common loop from idea to production, and push adoption across the region.

This role requires hands-on AI experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to hire and retain top talent, with insurance/financial services exposure benefiting the team’s

Qualifications

• Proven leader of high-calibre technical and/or customer-facing product engineering teams.
• Enough technical judgement to assess AI-FDE quality, enough customer judgement to assess Value FDEs.
• Has built a new capability, deployed AI into complex enterprises, and holds the bar under hiring pressure.
• 8+ years delivering software or AI solutions at customer sites, including 3+ years leading teams of 10 or more.
• Hands-on with AI agents and large language models in production, or a deep enterprise software delivery record and the drive to get there fast.
• Credibility with business leaders: you can run a workshop with a COO and a design review with engineers on the same day.
• Insurance or financial services experience; underwriting, claims or policy administration is a strong plus.
• A record of hiring well and fast, and of keeping people.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, coach and retain AI-FDEs and Value FDEs; protect the hiring bar as the practice scales.
• Stand up customer-funded pods, each with one Value FDE and one AI FDE as the persistent core.
• Allocate scarce pod capacity like investment capital: qualified accounts and use cases, not entitlement or utilization.
• Make every pod run the common loop: Idea, Map to Value, Build MVE, Validate, Production, next idea.
• Drive production adoption, customer self-sufficiency and reuse; manage staffing, bench risk, travel and pod economics.
• Run the field-to-Product/R&D feedback loop with AIP and agent engineering.
• Manages the Hub Leads in the region.
• Works with BVDA/BVDE/PDE and Delivery Squad leadership without duplicating their account or delivery responsibilities.
