Job summary

BNY is seeking an AI Program Lead to guide a cross-functional POD in identifying, developing, deploying, and scaling AI-driven solutions that address business needs and improve operations.

The role partners with AI Hub, data scientists, engineers, Ops Hub, platform teams, and business stakeholders to align AI opportunities with enterprise governance and risk frameworks, delivering practical, responsible AI applications and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in AI/ML, analytics, data science, or a related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects, workstreams, or teams in a cross-functional environment.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into practical technology or analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• AI Strategy, Delivery & Execution: Identify and prioritize processes where AI/ML, analytics, and automation deliver measurable value; oversee end-to-end development, validation, deployment, and monitoring of AI/ML solutions.
• POD Leadership & Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop POD team members; set priorities and ensure effective execution against timelines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Define requirements with product owners and business units; translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders; integrate AI into scalable production workflows.
• Governance & Responsible AI: Ensure responsible AI practices; oversee testing, validation, and documentation; collaborate with risk and compliance stakeholders.
• Innovation, Change & Thought Leadership: Stay current with AI trends; drive research; promote adoption and share insights across teams.
