Job summary

IonQ, Inc. is seeking a VP of Quantum Computing Product Marketing to define and own the market narrative for the Compute portfolio. You will work with product, science, engineering and applications teams to craft a coherent story that resonates with customers, partners, analysts and investors.

You will lead launch strategy, translate deep quantum capability into clear positioning, and drive cross‑functional collaboration to ensure consistent messaging across IonQ and its partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B technology marketing or product marketing at senior level.
• Ability to earn the trust of scientists and engineers.
• Experience turning deep technical capability into a credible market narrative.
• Track record influencing executives on market narrative, launches and positioning.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the overarching Compute narrative and messaging architecture across touchpoints.
• Lead launch strategy and messaging for major Compute products and milestones.
• Translate complex quantum capability into clear, differentiated positioning.
• Partner with cross-product marketing and Marketing/Communications to align stories.
• Build the operating model for Compute marketing and set priorities for growth.
