Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Physician Innovation within Digital Transformation & Innovation to lead the Provider Experience portfolio.

You will set the strategy, drive a multi-year roadmap, and partner with enterprise leaders to scale AI-enabled solutions that improve clinical workflows and provider efficiency. You will supervise Directors, align with Expanse and legacy systems, govern with QBRs, and build high-performing teams focused on value realization and measurable

Qualifications

• 15+ years of clinical experience, physician preferred.
• At least 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
• MD or DO with medical degree.
• Experience with enterprise-scale digital product initiatives, including deployment and adoption.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML, generative AI, and data-driven decision support.
• Experience with MVP development and iterative delivery.
• Master's in Business or related field preferred.
• Certification in digital product management and strategy or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Provider Experience strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Oversee a portfolio of digital products and Directors.
• Drive outcomes that improve patient safety, provider engagement, and care team experiences.
• Lead adoption strategies to improve efficiency, safety, and experience.
• Represent Provider Experience to enterprise leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and governance.
• Coach and develop product leaders in agile, cross-functional pod structures.
• Ensure deep integration with Expanse and clinical systems.
