Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Vice President, Construction Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in the Southeast US, focusing on large rail transit programs. The role centers on leading Primavera CPM scheduling, developing integrated master schedules, and delivering schedule analyses and forecasts for complex multi-project initiatives.

Effective leadership, client-facing communication, and extensive experience in construction scheduling are essential for success in this executive role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related discipline or equivalent years of construction scheduling experience.
• 12+ years of experience in developing and managing construction schedules for large programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert CPM scheduling (via Primavera) to support client programs including design and construction rail transit projects.
• Develop integrated program schedules based on input from designer, contractor and third parties.
• Assess and provide recommendations to resolve schedule, scope changes or delays to the project team and executive management.
• Coordinate with project teams to assess reporting and identify risk and create accurate forecasts.
• Develop, update, and analyze detailed execution schedules for simultaneous projects.
• Establish baseline schedule: durations, logic, resources, costs, cost curves, resource histograms.
• Review CPM updates, provide schedule comparison reports and detailed reviews.
• Perform Earned Value analyses, schedule change management and change orders reviews.
• Perform time impact analyses to determine impacts of potential delays.
• Provide recommendations for schedule recovery and run what-if scenarios.
