Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Production Services Application Support leader in New York to drive end-to-end service delivery for equities platforms. You’ll own incidents, changes, and problem management while pushing automation, observability, and AI-enabled improvements across the service stack.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in IT within financial services, strong stakeholder skills, and hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, Java, Python, Kafka, MQ, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 12+ years IT experience in information technology, securities, or financial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen incident, problem, change, and escalation management to reduce recurring issues.
• Own end-to-end initiatives from concept to delivery with accountability.
• Champion automation-first, AI-enabled capabilities with observability tooling.
• Identify systemic issues and drive sustainable remediation with engineering partners.
• Provide equities platform leadership across trade flows and market structure.
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders with clear governance and communication.
• Lead a global production services organization with cross-regional accountability.
• Drive service reliability, resiliency, and time-to-restore for critical platforms.
