Job summary

Stellar Health seeks a VP of Product Management to own the active roadmap, planning cycles, and delivery for four product squads focused on areas like Total Cost of Care, EHR integrations, and Data Platform. You’ll build and lead a team of four PMs and set the bar for disciplined, high-velocity product management.

Reporting to the SVP Product, you’ll guard squad strategy, hire and grow the PM bench, and partner across Design, Engineering, Marketing, Implementations, and Operations to maximize

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant career in product, tech, healthcare, or a mix thereof, with at least 6 in product management.
• At least 5 years of people management, including managing a multi-person PM team.
• Experience running a roadmap or capacity governance across more than one team.
• Comfortable holding PMs accountable to a plan without owning deep domain expertise of every squad.
• Able to collaborate with Design, Engineering, Product Marketing, Implementations, Operations, and Growth.

Responsibilities

• Be the management layer between the SVP Product and Stellar's 4 squads; own day-to-day delivery and act as escalation point.
• Hire, coach, and retain a high-performing PM team; conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
• Enforce high standards: align work with capacity, diagnose root causes, and make explicit tradeoffs.
• Own capacity tracking and execution metrics across all squads; mitigate risks with PMs.
• Build and run roadmapping cadence and ensure discipline across processes and OKRs.
• Coordinate with Design and Engineering to ship roadmap with high quality.
• Coordinate with Product Marketing, Ops, and Growth to drive awareness of new capabilities.
• Align with Tech Implementations, Analytics, and DevOps to keep efforts synced.
• Develop POVs on Stellar work and be prepared to disagree and commit when needed.
