Job summary

Vatica Health, Inc. is seeking a Principal Platform Product Manager to drive the evolution of our value-based care platform.

You will set strategy, unblock engineering, and own transition paths as new capabilities roll out, coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders. The role demands hands-on involvement with data models and architectural tradeoffs, while guiding complex, cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, with visibility into platform-level work.
• Experience owning platform or infrastructure-adjacent products, not just feature teams.
• Track record coordinating delivery across multiple engineering teams, including non-direct reports.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving decisions with incomplete specs.
• Hands-on approach to data models, technical tradeoffs, and edge cases.
• Experience working with globally distributed/offshore engineering teams and flexible schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to translate business needs for engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own platform strategy and roadmap from architecture to feature specs.
• Lead transition strategy to move customers/workflows forward as the platform evolves.
• Coordinate delivery across engineering teams and visible cross-team dependencies.
• Review data contracts and technical tradeoffs; write/edit specs when needed.
• Make and document product decisions with clear rationale and owners.
• Validate designs with engineers and end users to ensure true problem-solving.
• Manage stakeholders' scope and expectations at all levels, including executives.
• Partner with globally distributed teams, overlapping with offshore hours.
• Report progress, risks, and open decisions on a predictable cadence.
