Job summary

Apex Group Ltd is seeking a Manager – Fund Accounting Private Equity (VP level) in the United States. The role involves servicing clients as an extension of their finance team, handling fund accounting, investor communications, and audit support.

You will lead accounting for portfolio investments, complex structures, and IRR analysis, while collaborating with tax and regulatory reporting. A strong private equity background and CPA are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required.
• 6–10 years of professional experience (private equity preferred).
• 3–6 years direct Private Equity experience (hedge funds not counted).
• CPA preferred.
• Strong fund and partner accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare investment activity, management fee calculations, IRR, and waterfall calculations.
• Review reimbursable expenses and capital calls/distributions.
• Prepare fund financial statements with footnotes and schedules.
