Job summary

Metric DCX seeks a VP of Operations for data center construction to oversee the full lifecycle of mission-critical projects and lead client relationships across multiple sites. The role requires guiding project managers, field teams, and design partners to deliver on‑time, on‑budget results while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

15–20+ years in construction and operations with data center focus.
Experience with large-scale project delivery for GC or owner/operator.
Strong civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scope knowledge.
Proven leadership and ability to mentor multiple teams.
Excellent communication and client-management skills.

Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership and direction for data center projects across full lifecycle.
Support and guide project managers, superintendents, and field teams for consistency and quality.
Lead high-level coordination with design partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company processes.
Identify and resolve escalated issues while driving continuous improvement.
