Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance seeks a VP, Senior Director, PP&B Technology to shape the technology strategy and portfolio supporting People, Purpose & Brand, reporting to the CIO, Corporate Technology. This leader will modernize the PP&B tech landscape and build data-enabled experiences for the workforce through 2030.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in technical or business discipline.
• More than 5 years in a leadership role required.
• Senior technologist with a proven record leading large-scale transformations in complex, regulated environments; experience modernizing core platforms, data ecosystems, and AI-enabled capabilities, preferably in People/HR technology.
• Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge, and partner with executives on operating models, sequencing, investment tradeoffs, and change absorption.
• Hands-on credibility across modern engineering, cloud-native platforms, enterprise SaaS, data platforms, and AI-enabled systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technology strategy, portfolio, and organization supporting PP&B (People, Purpose & Brand).
• Oversee approximately $50 million in annual technology investment and a technology organization of ~125 people.
• Partner with PP&B and Technology leaders to translate business priorities into measurable outcomes.
• Drive transformation and ensure platforms, data, and AI capabilities align with business objectives.
