Job summary

Liberty Mutual invites applications for a VP, Sr Dir, Finance Technology. This leader will guide the technology strategy, portfolio, and organization supporting Global Finance, reporting to the CIO, Corporate Technology.

The role oversees ~220 employees and ~300 contractors with roughly $200M annual technology investment. The candidate will shape modern platforms, data capabilities, and AI-enabled experiences to drive Liberty's finance transformation through 2030 and beyond, partnering with CFO

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline; Master's preferred.
Minimum 15 years of related experience, including 5+ years in senior technology leadership.
Experience leading large-scale, multi-year transformations in complex, regulated environments with finance/insurance acumen.
Ability to influence and partner with executives on operating models and investments.

Responsibilities

Transformation Through Technology Execution across the Finance stack.
Modernize general ledger, accounting, treasury, tax, reinsurance, data, and risk platforms.
Balance legacy and cloud-native solutions with major software partnerships (SAP a plus).
Own multi-year transformation programs and ensure delivery of outcomes.
Ensure architectures stay aligned with business objectives and scale.
Partner with Finance leaders and external vendors to drive value realization.
Lead an inclusive, high-performing technology organization through change.
