Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a vice president level leader to oversee O&M portfolio operations and performance. The role will set strategy, governance, and standards for the fleet, ensuring safe, reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective execution across sites and functions.

The VP will sponsor enterprise-wide programs, lead organizational transformation, and align regional execution with enterprise priorities while driving performance improvements and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline required.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or related discipline preferred.
• Professional credentials such as PMP, PE, Lean Six Sigma, or related certifications preferred where relevant.
• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in operations, maintenance, reliability, or related industrial field.
• Minimum 8 years of leadership experience with managers or cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Creates and executes long-term strategy, operating model, and capability roadmap for portfolio operations functions.
• Provides executive oversight for Inventory Control, Tiger Team Operations, Maintenance Coordination, and QA/QC programs.
• Establishes governance, performance dashboards, escalation paths, and decision rights for portfolio execution.
• Designs and implements Organizational Inspection Program and QA/QC framework.
• Leads inventory and critical-spares strategy with cross-functional coordination.
• Directs maintenance coordination and portfolio scheduling practices to improve readiness and uptime.
• Leads Tiger Team strategy and deployment for high-priority work and initiatives.
• Identifies systemic performance losses and drives corrective actions and continuous improvement.
