Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC seeks a VP O&M, Portfolio Operations & Performance to provide executive leadership for portfolio-wide operational capabilities, establishing strategy, governance, standards, and performance management across Inventory Control, Tiger Team Operations, Maintenance Coordination and QA/QC.

This role connects enterprise priorities with regional execution, scales best practices, and builds durable systems to improve asset performance, execution quality, and resource readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree in engineering, business administration, operations preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in operations, maintenance, reliability, or related field.
• 8+ years of leadership experience with managers or cross-functional teams.
• Experience in renewable energy, power generation, or asset-intensive environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates and executes long-term strategy, operating model, and capability roadmap for portfolio operations.
• Provides executive oversight for Inventory Control, Tiger Team Operations, Maintenance Coordination, and QA/QC programs.
• Establishes governance, dashboards, escalation paths, and decision rights for portfolio execution.
• Designs Organizational Inspection Program and QA/QC framework with standards and audits.
• Leads inventory and critical-spares strategy, demand planning, and cross-functional coordination.
• Directs maintenance coordination and portfolio scheduling to improve readiness and alignment.
• Leads Tiger Team strategy, deployment, and cross-functional resource optimization.
• Identifies systemic performance losses; sponsors root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors and drives enterprise-wide performance improvements.
