RWE Americas, LLC seeks a Vice President of Operations & Asset Management to lead operational strategy, asset performance, and portfolio value creation for a growing natural-gas-fired generation business across North America. You will lead a lean team and coordinate with engineering, project development, construction, finance, and regulatory functions to drive reliability and profitability.

The role requires extensive power-generation operations experience, strong governance capabilities in

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in power generation operations or asset management.
• Strong leadership of multi-site operations or large power portfolios.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks (FERC, NERC, ISOs/RTOs).
• Experience with budgets, capital planning, and KPIs.
• M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational strategy for a growing natural-gas-fired generation portfolio.
• Oversee asset performance, reliability, and safety across assets.
• Develop operating models, processes, and systems to scale asset management.
• Drive data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Development, Construction, and Commercial teams through handoffs from concept to COD.
