Ascension Health is seeking a strategic Chief Pharmacy Officer to lead clinical pharmacy services at Ascension Wisconsin Corporate Office in Glendale, WI. You will direct leaders, ensure high quality patient outcomes, and manage regulatory compliance across hospitals and outpatient pharmacies.

The role requires a PharmD, WI licensure, and 5+ years of leadership in pharmacy, with experience in infusion and specialty services.

Competenze

• Wisconsin Pharmacist license required or credentialed by the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• 5+ years of cumulative leadership/management experience in pharmacy.
• Residency in Pharmacy preferred.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy services and infusion services.
• Strong knowledge of 340B programs and compliance.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Oversee the development and execution of strategies for delivering clinical pharmacy services across the organization in order to achieve high quality, affordable health care that improves patient outcomes.
• Direct a team of local and regionally-based clinical pharmacy leaders in order to achieve consistently high levels of performance meeting clinical, operational and financial key process indicators.
• Assess external clinical pharmacy industry trends and developments that represent risk andopportunities for the organization. Develop short and long term plans to respond to potential risks and capitalize on opportunities.
• Responsible for maintaining compliance with regulations of state, federal and other licensing andregulatory agencies at all hospitals, outpatient pharmacies and other locations of medication management.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Pharmacist credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Work Experience:

• 7 years of experience required.
• 5 years of cumulative leadership or management experience required.
• Pharmacy Residency preferred.
• At least 5+ years of leadership experience in pharmacy
• Advanced degree preferred (MBA or other relevant graduate degree)
• Experience with specialty pharmacy services
• Experience with infusion services
• Strong knowledge and experience with 340B programs and compliance
