Qualifications

• Must be licensed as Pharmacy Intern or credentialed by the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board preferred.
• Enrollment in an accredited US school of pharmacy is required.
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail in medication handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of a staff pharmacist under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain proper narcotic documentation and ensure proper distribution of narcotic medications.
• Ensure appropriate selection of dosing, administering and monitoring of medication under supervision.
• Dispense medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas; may compound medications.
• Assist pharmacists with maintaining and monitoring patient profiles; provide medication information and education to staff and patients.

Schedule: PRN rotating | a mix of morning and afternoon shifts starting as early as 0500 and end as late as 2300

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Pharmacy Intern credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board preferred.

Education

• High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited US school of pharmacy.
