Job summary

MERGE is seeking a Vice President, Pharma Media to lead client strategy and media delivery for pharma accounts, driving HCP and DTC programs and aligning media choices with commercial outcomes.

You will shape audience strategies, collaborate across practices, and mentor teams while staying ahead of industry trends and technology shifts. Remote work within the United States is possible.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of media experience with substantial expertise in pharma marketing and HCP strategy.
• Experience spanning both HCP and DTC is a major plus, oncology a bonus.
• Strong ability to translate audience insights into strategic media plans.

Responsibilities

• Drive Strategic Growth: Lead media strategy and senior client relationships for complex pharma accounts, focusing on HCP and integrated programs.
• Shape Audience Strategy: Craft audience strategies including segmentation, channel roles, sequencing, and optimization to meet client goals.
• Collaborate Across Practices: Partner with data and practice leads across Applied Intelligence, Discoverability, Programmatic, and Social to build fully integrated media plans and apply advanced measurement approaches.
• Expand Client Value: Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts by introducing MERGE offerings like HCP + DTC Performance Link and related consultative services.
• Lead with Impact: Support new business pitches and mentor internal account/strategy teams, setting a high standard for strategic rigor.
