Job summary

BetOnTPI in Des Moines, IA, seeks a VP of Technology to shape the company’s technology direction, grow its people, and turn ideas into measurable business improvements. You will lead internal software development, automation, infrastructure, IT operations, security, and data governance across TPI locations.

This is a senior, board‑level role with access to the CEO, a strong ESOP culture, and a mandate to modernize the tech stack, apply AI responsibly, and partner with operations to drive

Qualifications

Substantial technology leadership experience, typically 10+ years.
Experience as CIO, VP IT, or equivalent (>=3 years).
Breadth across internal software development, automation, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data governance.
Proven ability to prioritise projects, budgeting, vendor negotiations, and delivering measurable results.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a practical technology strategy.
Lead internal software development, automation, infrastructure, IT operations, security, and data governance.
Ensure PCI DSS compliance and SOC 2 readiness.
Build and mentor a capable technology leadership team.
Partner with Operations to translate business needs into practical tech solutions.
