Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a Sr. Director, IT to lead the global technology strategy, driving AI/BI/ML initiatives across ERP platforms and supporting EBITDA growth. You will manage a ~60-person IT team and partner with executives to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

The role requires deep manufacturing IT experience, strong leadership, and a strategic mindset capable of aligning technology with business goals in a fast-paced PE-backed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of IT leadership experience in a manufacturing or services setting.
• Proven track record delivering IT strategy using AI/BI/ML to drive EBITDA.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and oversee global IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive technology-enabled innovation.
• Oversee AI/BI/ML-focused IT systems overlay to ERP platforms.
• Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of all technology.
• Manage IT budgets and vendor relationships to optimize costs.
• Lead and mentor a large, global IT organization toward excellence.
• Implement IT policies and global centers of excellence.
• Oversee major IT projects, upgrades, and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Ensure timely delivery within budget and quality targets.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
