Bankjoy seeks a VP of System Engineering to own Release Management, QA, and DevOps, and to build a modern quality engineering framework that raises the bar across engineering. This hands‑on leadership role will directly guide automation engineers, QA leads, and DevOps with a focus on reliability and regulatory compliance.

You will drive cross‑functional collaboration, shape testing gates, and implement AI‑assisted coding and testing initiatives to improve product quality and delivery speed.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of engineering experience with at least 4 years in engineering leadership, managing QA, DevOps, or platform reliability teams.
• Deep background in quality engineering; built or rebuilt automation frameworks, not just overseen them.
• Proven experience migrating automation frameworks in a multi‑platform environment (web and mobile) and driving automation‑first QA in fintech or regulated environments.
• Experience implementing release gate processes and enforcing go/no‑go decisions under schedule pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Lead three core engineering functions: Release Management, QA, and DevOps, delivering quality, release discipline, and platform reliability.
• Maintain a dotted-line relationship with manual QA engineers, setting quality standards and processes org-wide while coordinating with tech leads.
• Provide hands‑on technical leadership in solution design, architecture decisions, production incident response, and complex troubleshooting.
• Partner with VP of Engineering on cross‑cutting initiatives like AI coding adoption and architectural standards; participate in senior leadership discussions.
• Design and implement Bankjoy’s engineering quality framework across value streams, including unit/integration testing, automated regression, and release readiness.
