Job Title: VP of Strategic Accounts

Function: Commercial

Location: NYC or Remote. This role will require working and/or traveling in evenings and during weekends as needed. Anticipate over 40% travel.

What the opportunity looks like:

The Dalmore is a top 10 single malt by value in the US, with Jura, Tamnavulin, and others showing significant growth potential. The VP of Strategic Accounts will focus on delivering our commercial targets within top US national and regional liquor chain retailers, developing strategic partnerships, and executing our Chain Retail strategy, including distribution, visibility, and activation plans across online and offline channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Planning, Development & DVA: Conduct regular reviews with Gallo’s Customer Development Teams, develop annual business plans, optimize presence in outlets, and identify new growth opportunities.
  2. Managing Relationships: Build relationships with top liquor chains, collaborate with internal teams for category solutions, organize advocacy trainings, tastings, and events to promote our brands.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the Wine & Spirits industry or high-end luxury brands across both supplier and wholesaler tiers.
  • Skilled in data interpretation, category storytelling, and pricing management across geographies.
  • Experience in customer marketing, channel visibility, activation programs, and e-commerce.
  • Effective negotiator and relationship builder with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary: $170,000 - $190,000, depending on experience and location. Benefits include bonus, full medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401k with match, flexible hours, PTO, holidays, product allowance, and development opportunities.
